Resident Meetings

This is where the questions raised at the resident meetings that have been held will be presented. The questions will appear first, and once answers have been obtained, they will be added as well.

Tenants' Questions to VBAB April 22, 2026

Kitchen:

Question: How many years do we have to wait before we get new kitchen cabinets?

(The drawers don't stay closed—we have to patch and repair them all the time.)

Question: Why are you installing a dishwasher in a two-room apartment and raising the rent by almost 3,000 kronor? That's stealing money from us poor retirees.

Courtyards:

Question: There's a lot of reckless driving in the courtyards; the gates aren't enough, so many people drive over the lawns and between the stones that have been placed there. Many have keys, so they can unlock the gate and then take the key with them without having to lock it again, leaving the gate open and encouraging others to drive in.

Waste Management/Recycling Stations:

Issue: A lot of trash outside the recycling stations, as well as poor sorting inside them. Many people go out at night, thinking they won't be seen, and dump strollers, beds, TVs, etc., which end up on the ground near the recycling stations and on the floors inside them.

Possible measures: Install cameras and issue fines to those responsible.

Question: I think VBAB should set up a dumpster so that people who are moving or clearing out their storage units—and who don't have access to a car or a driver's license—can dispose of their belongings. How else are they supposed to get rid of it?

Playgrounds:

Question: Are there any ideas for making playgrounds more fun for all children?

Restrooms:

Question: What's the status of the increased electricity allowance for heating the restrooms at Old Sörse? It doesn't seem to be making much of a difference. I think VBAB has handled this poorly.

Stairwells (inside/outside):

Question: Look into those who have electric scooters or mobility scooters.
